The Alexander Tall

The jacket is great. It's a flattering fit and the materials are all high quality. The feel is nice and the shape of the jacket is very modern and slim. The hardware is sturdy and the lining is comfortable and warm. I"m 6'3-ish and the length of the Alexander Tall in large is perfect. The sleeves end right at my wrist. I have a longer torso and the jacket comes just below my hip just like you'd expect of a moto-style jacket.

I have two problems and one is possibly of my own making. I'm a 42 inch chest and I ordered the L jacket because it is supposed to fit 42 inch chests. The fit is almost too tight. There are two zippers and I can get the outside zipper to zip but it's almost a struggle. Yes, I"m trying to lose weight because that's the obvious solution. According to the tag on the jacket, the size is an L in the UK but an M in the US (where I'm from). So maybe I should have gotten the American size L (the XL in case you're having trouble following).

The other problem, if you can call it that, is that this is a pretty lightweight jacket. I've owned other leather jackets that can be worn in the winter or colder months and fit in a way that allows layering with a hoodie but this is not that kind of jacket. It's so slim that I can only just fit a hoodie under it but it's kind of stiff then. Again, it's partially because I bought a slim jacket when I'm not that slim, but just a heads up in case you want to wear this casually in the colder months. It's not very warm. You'll…
