The time is getting closer. We love treating our loyal supporters here at BODA SKINS, and what better way to do it than through our latest annual sample sale? We may have missed a year, but that's OK - we’ll make up for it with what’s on sale this time. You recently saw how iconic our sample sale was in our home of Manchester, so we wanted to make the trip down South to show the capital how it’s done.
Our London sample sale this year gives you the chance to have a closer peep into how we run things, and how we continue to supply you with the jackets that last a lifetime. This year, you have the chance to get your hands on some of our world-famous styles, along with a bunch of items from previous collections. You will be able to see versions of our Kay Michaels, Jaws, Aviator, Puffers, and Shearling jackets, with some added surprises too.
The event begins at 10am on Saturday 3rd July and will run through until 4pm. It's first come first serve so be sure to move fast to get your hands on items that are sure to sell out quickly.
We are hosting this London Sample Sale at the Motel Studios (Studio 2), with it being an 8 minute walk from Hoxton Rail station on the East London line, 14 minute walk from Old Street Underground station and 24 minute walk from Bethnal Green Underground station.
With that being said, we understand that you won’t be spending hours upon hours browsing through our collections, and some of you will be making a trip either across, or to the city to visit Team BODA. We want to make sure your day runs as smoothly as possible, so if you want to make some plans either before or after you purchase your BODA, here’s some suggestions from us on where to go for a bite to eat, for a drink, or just for a bit of fun.
And, who knows… You may even see us there.
Bike Shed, 384-386, Old St, London EC1V 9LT
If you want to continue your day of love for leather, bikes and great company then you need to pay a visit to the Bike Shed. Enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just a coffee and drinks beneath the Bike Shed Motorcycle Club’s huge Victorian railway arches in the heart of Shoreditch. Based only a stone’s throw away from our sample sale, this food spot is one of our favourites to visit in the capital.
The menu is easy to understand, with a bunch of modern classics to order, made from fresh ingredients. You can grab anything from porridge to eggs benedict, steak salad, to vegan burgers. They also cover bites for those with a gluten-free diet.
Their venue is huge, too, with there always being room for walk-ins along with outdoor seating. This is a must-visit in our eyes.

Bounce Bar, 241 Old St, London, EC1V 9EY
Standing as one of London’s most beloved ping pong bars, Bounce has taken over a couple of spots in the capital now. A short taxi or underground journey away from BODA’s Sample Sale, you can jump off the tube on Old Street before strolling down to the bar.
With their bar being the main hub for drinking, you can also grab food (we recommend the pizza), and play ping pong until the early hours. Grab a couple of pals and get yourself down there, we love it.

Flight Club, 2A, Worship St, London, EC2A 2AH
Combining darts, pizza and booze, Flight Club knows the ingredients for a good night out. Providing the perfect backdrop for a fun group activity or quirky date, this unique bar has quickly become London’s most talked-about places. It’s fair to see why, with a good variety of drinks and food, you can play a conventional game of darts, or try your hand at one of the more uncouth versions.
As one of the most exciting and quickly-growing bar franchises in the UK, Flight Club also has a spot in our hometown of Manchester, but as this place is only a short tube journey away from our sample sale this weekend, we would recommend getting in here.

Andina, 60-62 Commercial St, London E1 6LT
Overflowing with Latin American spirit that allowed them to be recognised as one of the best restaurants in East London, this food spot is inspired by traditional, family-run Andean eateries. Bringing heart, soul and passion to the table, they serve up a selection of Perubian classics made from nothing other than seasonal produce that’s sourced sustainably from small suppliers.
Everything at Andina is designed to share, balancing healthy eating with a little indulgence. Also, there’s plenty to excite those who are vegan, vegetarian, or eat a gluten-free diet, too. They’re also open 7 days a week for lunch, dinner and brunch, meaning you can arrive at any time either before or after attending our sample sale.
Their pisco is always flowing, the juice bar is always fully stocked and their soundtrack is electric and upbeat.
A really wholesome spot with nothing but good food. We’ll probably see you there.

Here is one of the hidden gems in London if you’re not familiar with the capital. BOXPARK food park is one of the most creative food courts around, and with it being just a stone's throw away from the BODA sample sale, it’s definitely worth swinging by.
BOXPARK is designed from an old shipping container and inside, it combines concepts of street food and pop-up retail malls. You’ll find a wide variety of good foods and drinks, along with numerous retail stalls. We would recommend coming here in the late afternoon - that’s when the real fun starts!
